English Instructor

We are looking for an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join our educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, fostering their love for the English language, and helping them develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective English lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging and student-centered lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student engagement.

- Deliver well-structured and interactive English lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to cater to diverse learning styles.

- Foster students' love for reading and literature by introducing them to a wide range of age-appropriate English texts, including novels, poems, short stories, and non-fiction.

- Teach and reinforce grammar, vocabulary, and language usage rules through various instructional strategies, including interactive activities, group work, and individual exercises.

- Encourage students to develop effective communication skills by providing ample opportunities for speaking and listening practice, such as class discussions, debates, presentations, and oral exams.

- Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments, including tests, quizzes, essays, projects, and presentations.

- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement, and offering guidance on how to enhance their language skills.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and revise curriculum materials, share best practices, and ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.

- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding students' progress, achievements, and areas for growth.

- Stay updated on the latest developments in English language teaching, educational research, and instructional methodologies to continuously improve teaching practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (a Master's degree is preferred).

- Valid teaching certification or licensure in English or a related subject area.

- Proven experience teaching English language skills to students at the middle or high school level.

- Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, literature, and language acquisition theories.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs.

- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop a love for the English language.

- Proficiency in integrating technology and digital resources into classroom instruction.
